Polyrizos tavern was started in 1984 with 4 rooms by Stavros and Katerina Stavgiannoudakis. A family business that is continued by the sons, Marko and Nikos Stavgiannoudakis and their family.

Dominant role of success, grandmother Katerina's cooking skills (until 2021). Then, chef Andreas Gigurtakis took over the long tradition of good Cretan food. All ingredients are local and raw materials such as goat meat, goat milk, lamb, and olive oil come from the Stavgiannoudakis family. A welcoming, family-run hotel that has hosted many generations of customers for years. In 1990, the hotel began to be built. Today, with effort and passion, it lists 44 rooms. Our hotel rooms are fully equipped. They have a furnished balcony or patio, air conditioning, refrigerator and satellite TV. Each room has a private bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer.
Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the terrace restaurant overlooking the Libyan Sea. Guests can enjoy their drink or coffee at the bar with a view of the sunset. Barbecue and seafood nights are also organized during the week. Free private parking is available on site.
